Children

Welcome to the Children's Ministries at Bethel Baptist Church! We strive to provide a safe environment where your kids will have fun learning amazing things about our amazing God! Everything we do with the children of Bethel is based upon Jesus' words found in Matthew 23:37-39:  "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is love your neighbor as yourself."

Our goal at Bethel is that every child that enters our ministries will love God with their HEART, HEAD, and HANDS.  We will give every child an opportunity to accept Jesus' forgiveness through His death on the cross (love Him with their HEARTS), grow in their knowledge of Who Jesus is and what the Bible teaches (love Him with their HEAD), demonstrate that love for Him through acts of service for others (love Him with their HANDS). 

We have many different ways your children can learn to love God with their HEART, HEAD, and HANDS! Check out our many opportunities. And if you have any questions, be sure to contact me!

A Brief Overview

Nursery for infants through age 3 at our 8:00 and 11:00 am services, and for infants at 9:30 am.

Sunday School for ages 2 through 5th grade at our 9:30 service; for ages 2nd-5th grade at 11:00 am.

Children's Church for ages 4 through 1st Grade at 11:00 am, complete with games, music, Bible lessons, crafts, and many other fun activities!

AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed), Wednesday evening program for kids ages 3 - 6th grade. The focus is on scripture memorization. Kids play great games and are challenged with a devotional in a large group setting.  AWANA runs from September to May, 6:30-8:00 pm on Wednesdays.

Vacation Bible School - one week each summer, Bethel transforms itself into the most rockin' kids program you can find!  Games, skits, Bible lessons, crafts, music, FUN, FUN, FUN!  We are not ashamed to present Christ clearly during VBS, and we think the more noise and excitement during this week, the better!

We also offer seasonal family festivals, Christmas programs, and many other opportunities for your kids to be involved in the Children's Ministries at Bethel!
