Appointment Procedure

Before stopping into a pastor’s office, stop by the church office to make sure they are available. Call or email to arrange for a longer appointment. If you need a longer visit with Pastor Tim, please schedule an appointment through Brenda by calling the office at 754-8711 or email churchoflove@betheljanesville.org. Appointment times for the summer are Thursday evenings between 6:30-8:00 and Thursday or Friday afternoons between 1:30-5:00. Please limit drop-ins to 5-10 minutes. If you have church business for any of the church staff, please leave a note in their mailbox in the mailroom on Sundays or they will likely forget.

Baptisms

Have you been baptized as a believer in Jesus Christ? The next opportunity for baptism by immersion here at Bethel is Sunday, June 30. If you would like to participate in this service, please speak with a pastor. Baptisms will take place after the morning services at noon.

Bizzy Buddies Men's Chat Group

• June 21: 8:00 am at Denny’s. John Berkley, Investment Advisor Rep, will present an overview from 1966 and projections to 2026. This will be an opportunity to better learn how to use what’s been entrusted to us.
• July 5: no meeting.
• July 19: Planning meeting—Eagle Inn, 8:00 am

LOVE, INC.

The Bare Necessity pantry at Love INC is in need of the following items which can be placed in the bin in the foyer: Diapers (size 4-6), feminine hygiene products, general household cleaners, toilet bowl cleaner, toilet paper. The Clothing Give-A-Way is in need of gently used, clean, in-season clothing. Any clothing should be dropped off at Orchard View Alliance Church, 2707 Bond Place in Janesville. New Part-Time Coordinators

We welcome two part-time coordinators to Bethel, as approved at Sunday’s Annual 
Business Meeting. These coordinators will work 10 hours per week.

Sonwest Roundup VBS 2013

SonWest RoundUp VBS will take place July 28-August 1 from 6:00-8:30 pm, Sunday through Thursday evenings. Sign ups for VBS volunteers has begun. See the enclosed insert for areas where help is needed and the form to sign up. Pastor Jamie will be in the foyer area to answer any questions and will gladly take your volunteer registration form.

Summer Women's Bible Study Growth Group

Alice Reimer is offering a women’s Bible study Growth Group in her home at 409 N. Walnut Street on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm. The group is studying the book, Facing Your Giants by Max Lucado. Cost of the book is approximately $10. The group began meeting last week, but it’s not too late to join in. Please contact Alice with any questions at 756-4592 or via email at allicali@hotmail.com.

Worship Choir

If you would like to get involved with the Worship Ministry, your first step is to join our Worship Choir, which sings once a month. Our next rehearsals are Thursday, August 1 & 8, at 7:00 pm, singing in the contemporary services at 9:30 & 11:00 on Sunday, August 11.
