Vacation Bible School starts this weekend! Discover SonQuest Rain Forest the week of August 1 - 5, from 6-8:30 pm. Based on 5 key Bible verses that will change a child’s life — including John 3:16 — SonQuest Rainforest transports young minds into a vivid rainforest environment of jungle sounds, sights and smells, where they’ll dig into the Bible and meet Jesus in every day’s story.
Come join the crowd at the Sveum Farm on August 7 at 1:30 pm as we celebrate our Christian and National heritage in shaded comfort in this country setting. Join in praise to our Lord for His great goodness. Bring a chair, a blanket to sit on, or just stand and enjoy the music from The Assemblymen. Sing along if you just can't help yourself. But, do come and share a wonderful opportunity for good wholesome fun in the sun. Refreshments will be provided. Teh farm is located at 8423 E. County Rd. A in Janesville.
A freewill offering will be taken for United World Mission missionaries, Brian and Barbara Thompson. In case of rain, concert will be held at Bethel.
Come experience God! The next Men's Breakfast is scheduled for Saturday, August 14 at 7:00 am, and the ladies are invited! The featured speakers are United World Mission missionaries Steve & Martha Farina, along with Brian & Barbara Thompson. They'll take you on a fascinating Prayer Walk through the streets of Budapest, Hungary, where the Farinas live and minister to the people of Eastern and Central Europe. Brian & Barbara are currently raising support to serve in Hungary. We encourage you to listen, interact and be inspired to develop a prayerful walk for your own community.
The next Youth Connections get together is a dinner with a Potato & Sundae bar. Join us on Sunday, July 18 at 5:00 pm at the home of Al & Cherry Mendoza. We're a newly formed group of parents of youth and others who are coming together for the sole purpose of praying, encouraging and supporting our youth, and the Bethel ministry as a whole. Plan now on joining us at 4th Ward Park as we reach out and have fun with the 4th Ward children playing some baseball! Last year, we had upwards of 40-plus kids most weeks, so we need all the additional support and help possible! It really is a great outreach! Look for more details to come from the Outreach Board.
